Blizzard Entertainment, founded in 1991 as "Silicon & Synapse", is one of the most well known and popular PC game developers/publishers, responsible for the Warcraft, World of Warcraft, Starcraft, and Diablo franchises. Some of their earliest games included The Lost Vikings and Rock 'n Roll Racing. Their games have won numerous awards and their MMORPG World of Warcraft still has millions of subscribers.
