Tommy's Toys, a company run by a single guy (T. L. Winslow) from approximately 1985-2001. Called "perhaps the most prolific shareware author of all time" by Richard Moss in his book Shareware Heroes, his approach was to rapidly develop and release text-mode games using QuickBasic, aiming for a quantity-over-quality approach. That isn't to say the games were bad, but they were obviously limited compared to contemporary games of the time. The marking gimmick for the games was that Winslow never revealed his real name, and instead the games were "programmed by aliens from outer space(tm)!"
