Soundblaster 16 ISA problem in Doom 2

I don't seem to be able to get any sound out of Doom 2 with my Sounblaster 16 ISA card. It works with just about any other game you can think of but not this one. In the Doom 2 setup it has detected my sound card as a SoundblasterAwe32 or somthing and when i try and change it and run the game there ...

OK...I'm using the Ethernet ports to set up the peer-to-peer connection. So in my Windows XP i run the Network Setup wizard to configure the connection but then you must do the same on the other machine. The Network Setup wizard will create a floppy which you can use to run the wizard on machines th...

your running that on 512mb of RAM?. Nah, thats simply too much for most Dos Games i know. About 32 or 64 mb should be plenty for any Dos game. Of course personally i would go for the Pentium so i can experiance the game better without it running WAY too fast. Why underclock your machine when you can...

I believe DOS games usually stop working properly with Pentium 2s. When i say "stop working properly" i mean in my experiance i tend to notice no background music (Wolf3d, Blake Stone). Your games will work OK with that Pentium 2 but you may or may not lose some features or other through i...

For instance, Wolfenstein 3D supports the Gravis GamePad and joystick. Doom supports the joystick only i think. Duke Nukem can support the joyst...

I went to 3DRealms and downloaded the ROTT V1.2 CD Install help and used this patch to copy the installation files of the CD install Disk. It worked and i can play the game and use setup pretty well.

Thanks for that link.
