Java Applet Probs

Anytime I try to play a Java game on the Internet (IE7) it closes all IE browsers, even those that aren't related to the site I'm on. Ideas, anyone? I'm running XP Pro. For an example, Duelling Tilers , Beach Image , Zombie Infection Simulation , and BeachComber all work perfectly. However, Rubicon ...

Sorry to re-open a six-month dead topic, but I've found the software I was looking for, so you can all stop your busy searching lol.

Almost ten seconds after downloading the zip file to be scanned, "VSMON.exe has CRASHED." "Please reboot your Computer or restart ZoneAlarm."

Oh dear.

I've found a site which offers it for PC download, but I don't want to run the risk of downloading from a site I've never heard of before, and could contain viruses, etc. The site is "Chip Retro" - Has anybody ever downloaded from here before?

cBox?

This is rather a crap suggestion which will undoubtedly be smashed into the ground by the omniscient, omnipresent, omnipotent, omnivorous Admins of Destruction,

But why not get a Cbox for the bottom of the main page? It would make certain things rather more easy.

I'm now looking for an old game that was originally for the Amiga but was ported to the PC a while later: the Mr. Blobby game. It involved Mr. Blobby, his wife and baby Blobby, walking around black-and-white backgrounds, putting all the colour in by walking around.. You'd throw pies at the enemies. ...

Thanks Dosraider. I, however, have yet another request: Core War (or CoreWar) - 1) Where can I get it? I've searched and searched but again, nothing has come up trumps. 2) How do I play it? I understand the basic description: Build a program that can kill the other program, but I am at a loss to do ...

Another (groan) Crusader: No Regret Prob.

Okey, so I'm running No Regret in DOSbox 0.65, Windowed mode, on Windows XP, usually a couple of other programs running in background (Outlook and IE7), at 20000 cycles, since that seems to be optimum for my computer to play this game. I see my mum (or dad) coming and there's a load of blood on the ...

1) I would like to know where, if anywhere, I can get hold of a free (?) copy of "Kingdom O' Magic" for DOS. That is: Shareware, or Legal full download, (or if I get reallly desperate, Illegal Full Download) since I can't find actual current data that SCi actually acknowledges its existenc...

Wow! What a weird game.. I doubt my mum would want me playing something so... skimpy. However, I believe that is actually based on the Xargon engine which is a mod of the Jill engine. Pity. I actually emailed Epic Games to ask if I could have a copy of the Jill engine and a license. Response was: &q...
