I've got an ARRIS modem, with model NO.TM402P/110.

Worked fine on my old dell. Did i mention i have Comcast as a service provider?

Thanks for the advice but i directly connect to a broadband modem. I have tried re-setting that which had no effect.

I recently built a NEW computer and put vista 64-bit on it. Now it seems that i cannot male it connect to the internet for the life of me. It always says that i have limited or no connectivity.


I have tried messing with everything i can think of and it stubbornly won't work.

Currently i am running DOOM II on a p1 233, Windows 95, 64mb RAM (DIMM). Every time i play and beat 3 levels and then hit escape to save, the game freezes. Though this problem is only a annoyance, i still need help resolving it.

Yeah, tried it and still i kicks me out.

I have the original disks and i just cant get it to work on my system. I try and try to run it on a 486 DX2-66, 16mb RAM, and no EMS enabled. After i type in the security word it shows the splash screen, flickers the sim (AFT 2.0 goes directly to the sim no menu) and just kicks me out to the command...

actually one PS1 game i played is even more stupid. Stunt Cycle 2.0, think a side scrolling motor cycle game where fire hydrants shoot at you, in bad SNES graphics.

I am a self named combat flight sim junkie, but of of the good DOS era games that eludes me is Falcon. If you know where i can find a copy of Falcon for DOS please help, i figure only the experts of this BBS could direct me in the right direction.

But i have to agree on the 1$ games, i could have been worse.
They could have just corrupted your registry and been incompatible
with your video card.

Think Space invaders in EGA and you can move your ship in any direction.

Doom was revolutionary for FPS's and comparing it to modern games 10 - 15 years older simply isn't fair. It's like ragging a Ford Model T in comparison to a Dodge Viper.

My final rating is

10/10 single player

5/10 multi player because there is no support for it.

Are you running it form DOSBOX?

if not that may be your problem, i cannot run Keen on my p4 without it.
