Yeah, I agree. It's a load of old cobblers. So are all religious texts. No-one knows what really happens when we die.

I used to own an Amiga 500, and I suppose its' games are comparable to the type of game that use the DOS on PC (although I realise that nothing anywhere as good as Quake was released for the Amiga!). And you don't still use it :blah: Guess I'm a hardware whore, still have working Amiga's and C64's ...

Well, I don't really know all that much about old PC games and hardware. This is my first PC, and I'm only just becoming interested in checking out its' earlier titles. Just bought System Shock (new), packaged in a HUGE cardboard box, for a quid. My first DOS game. Viva la bargain bin! I used to own...

My PC is now ten months old (P4 2.66, 512 PC2700, R9000 64MB), and I suppose that if I fitted a better graphics card it would play any game well enough. Thing is, I mostly buy older, cheaper games. Still on my first PC, and it uses a P4, so it's Intel for me. I think my Dreamcast has an Hitachi CPU, though. Also, my PS2 has an "Emotion Engine".

My first PC, now ten months old:-

MS 6701 motherboard
Intel P4B 2.66 (not overclocked, I know nothing about that stuff)
512 DDR RAM
60 GB HD at 5400 RPM
Radeon 9000LE 64 MB AGP
etc.

I'm using a Radeon 9000LE 64 MB AGP and, er, this is my first PC so I haven't got anything to compare it with. It seems okay most of the time anyway. First post!
