I can't change the boot settings on my computer and was wondering if there is a way to make a boot floppy that would redirect to the CD.

OK, here's the situation: I have 2 routers that I need connected to each other as one network. my first router is a DLink DI-604 (1wan port, 4lan ports) it's connected to the internet. uh, right. anyways, I tried dividing up the drive into more that 1 partition but still no luck. I'm going to try getting a different copy of the disk, and if that dosen't work I'm going to see if I can install on the other drive.

• every time I change around the configuration somehow the progress bar on the load screen goes a different length.

I usually reformat every 1-1 1/2 years or when a severe problem occurs. Update - I reformatted and reinstalled again, and the progress bar just stops at a different point now. Then I ran chkdsk, which said 1 or more errors were found and fixed, but still wouldn't load. I reformatted again after that...
