dosbox 0.72 versus 0.73 please help

Post by sue »

Hello I have been away so long
I am setting up my dosgames again on both computers for my daughters to also play
I can get some games to run on dosbox 0.72 that will not play on dosbox 0.73
I know it is something simple Just need the key to figure it out
wolf3d plays on dosbox 0.73 and not on 0.72
cd sod plays on 0.72 and not on o.73
same with other games i have
i can give you a list if you want what plays and what doesnt

Hello again sweet Sue.

Last updated Dosbox version is 0.74 ......
Try everything first on 0.74.
You simply can install 0.74 besides the older 0.72/0.73 , they won't interfere with each other.

.... and don't forget to read the stickies. :)

OK, let us try to keep this sub a bit ordened, shall we..?

Same rules as before: one topic/one game.

Begin with one game, great chances that when we solved the problems for one all others will be easily solved .....

Topic title: game's name
In your first post:
OS?
mount lines?
How you launch the game?
Did you downed from dosgames.com?
Be as detailed as possible regarding the problems.

For now I'm gonna lock this topic, nothing personal, it's just completely useless to mix up several games in one topic, kinda messy and it won't eventually help others with the same problems.

OK Sue?
