Means:
- If your GUS stuff is in \oldgames\ULTRASND\
- And you mount \oldgames\ as virtual C:
- You point to ultradir=C:\ULTRASND in dosbox conf
But honestly, howto was written in 2007, and now with dosbox 0.74 GUS emu was taken to a higher level, I doubt if it's still needed now to improve GUS sounds.
Notice: with dosbox 0.74 you probably will have to disable other sound devices in dosbox to avoid conflicts with the GUS drivers.
If you want to go on with GUS drivers please read

I'll explain it to you with an example.You have your game folder in C:\Games.Anonymous wrote:Can someone explain to me what does it mean "point DOSBox to folder"? Does it mean "install DOSBox into this folder" or "install DOSBox next to this folder" or what? English isn't my native language and even translator isn't very helpful with this
In that folder,you have your games and the ULTRASND folder.
If you mount your folder in DOSBox as the X drive (for example),then you should have the ultradir parameter like this:
ultradir=X:\ULTRASND
I hope I've helped you.
