Turn based adventure game
Turn based adventure game
Hi i cant remember the name of this game so maybe someone here can help. You played as a boy that had a sword, there were evil creatures like big spiders and other monsters that you would find and would kill if you encounter them the game is a turn based game and after every victory the guy would spin his sword with one of his hands and then burry the top of it in the ground as the game went on you would meet people and you would unlock new playable characters. The game was turn based game in your turn you could chose to attack, run or cast a spell it was a side view game

Around what year did you play, and was it on Windows or DOS or playstation or something else...
Do you recall what the graphics were like, 3D or FPS or top-down or side view?
Totally random "boy with sword adventure game" guess:

This might be far fetched but the spinning of the sword and victory taunt made me think of Final Fantasy VII. Here is a clip demonstrating one of the taunts.
If it wasn't FFVII, could you be more specific about explaining the mechanics, elements in the game and such. If you elaborate more in your description, you might get more detailed answers. I can't still quite grasp what sort of view there was to the game.
