NES game, trees

i believe it was for NES, all i can remember of this game is the very first level is a bunch of trees and i believe some trees had doors in them or what ever, the second level i couldnt pass because i believe it was a boss. i believe it was a wizard. i want to remember this game so bad!

Could be Wizards & Warriors. Definitely has trees with doors in on the first level.

Another one that comes to mind is Battle of Olympus.
The first area has trees with doors in them.

Okay. Um.. Its either battle of Olympus, Wizards and Warriros, Athena, Zelda Link to the past, Swordmaster, Um....
