Hello, I'm looking for a very obscure PC game.
I played it in the early 2000s I think, bought the CD very cheap at the supermarket, in a slim cardboard cover.
The game itself is, according to my memory, an action platformer, very similar to the titles in this page :
https://www.giantbomb.com/jazz-jackrabb ... lar-games/
The jacket also is very similar to most of them in style. It represented (at least) a kid, badass style, maybe with sunglasses and punk blonde hair.
I remember a (the first ?) level in the jungle. There are metalic platforms I think. You play as the badass kid, and you shoot at green monsters, bigger than you, relatively slowly moving.
An important thing I remember is the weapon : A kind of laser gun, that shoots a (green ?) laser that moves slowly across the screen, and when you pick up stuff to upgrade, the laser get thicker. At times it becomes very large and crush enemies easily. I think you can choose how long you press fire and the 'laser' will have a certain length as well.
You get to deliver girls, prisonners in a king-kong like fashion, and that gives you a heart (more life).
Here it is, I found and played to most of the games I played when young, but this one resisted my investigations, and I never found any trace of it on the net.
I would love to play it again.. thanks in advance !
late 90s early 2000s action platformer [Clif Danger]
It all began... in Africa!!!
BTW, do you know that the artist Carsten Wieland is the same guy who did art for WET - The Sexy Empire?
Here's the original page of the game at CDV (the German publisher):

I've not been able to find a higher resolution version of the art on that page, it may be shown once you complete the full game.
