How to install "Command and Conquer red Alert?"
Hello, I'm using Windows Xp professional, I wanna install and play "Command and Conquer Red Alert The Aftermath", which is a either windows 95 or MSDOS version exclusively. Under Win XP it won't lemme neither install nor paly, but Win XP doesn't have the option of rebooting the machine in DOS mode. What do you think I should do? Thanks.
I wanna know more about computers then I know about myself.

Oh my, what weird answers.
Windows emulator? Yeah, he doesn't want to play it at 3fps, nor does he want to pay gobs of money to strange people.
Bootdisk? How's he going to access the medium he installed it from? And, supposing he can find a dos CDROM driver, its going to run like crap anyway. The Windows 95 version of Red Alert SHOULD install fine on XP, but if it doesn't, be sure to try running the install under Windows 95 compat mode, or, as a last resort, try downgrading. XP never ceases to annoy me.
Oh, a bit of Linux evangelism here, but Red Alert runs spiffy under Wine.
