ADOM cheats....

I am looking for some cheats for ADOM. Also i am in the shop in the first town and I am locked in.the shop keeper is in my way and he wont let me leave.

Also (agin) I want to find a way to turn off the auto attack feature.(every time i walk into someone it tries to attack them,also i want to know how to buy/pick up items in the shop.) email

You can't turn off autoattack, and you either have to pay or drop your item.

naaah not lazy i just had to leave and get of the net at my work.

ya umm sorry about acting like such a n00b but i really am new at this game. I cannont figure out what key to hit to pick up an item in a shop.
also the only thing i can do when i get in a fight is kick (i dont know how do use my dagger). Could someone pleese help?

Well... the first thing you can do is press "?" (SHIFT-/) and then 'K' to see the keybinding for the game. Items can be picked up with the ',' key, use you dagger by equiping it in you weapon slot and walking into a monster. (note: Not all "monsters" should be killed, many are there to be nutral or even to help the charicter. Press 'C' to chat with them. If you want to know what a monster is press 'L' to look at it) After this you should read the manual, followed by the FAQ and Guildbook located <html><a href=http://www.andywlms.com/adom/>here</a></html>. As for cheats, there are none coded in though ADOM has been around long enough (9 years) where some ways to hack it have been found. If you have a Hex Editor and are good with it, I'll send you instructions on how to "create" a wand of wishing with 2 billion+ charges. (Or, I can just send you a savefile of a char with one)

press ";" to pick something up. Oh BTW, dont attack shopkeepers. They are some of the most powerful enemies in the game! :Angry:
