No Sound On Duke Nukem 3D
No Sound On Duke Nukem 3D
I am somewhat confused as to how I can play The game and have sound running. I have installed the game and love playing it but I can't get the sound to work because I don't know what sound card information I have to give. Honestly I dont know what the sound card is, so any help would be just great 'coz I wanna hear Duke Nukem talk!

kabyssion, we are in 2007 now, some things have changed a lot since those posts.
Now we can use dosbox 0.71, runs Duke3D flawless, choose SB as soundcard, ADR220 IRQ7 DMA1 HDMA5.
Works flawless.
Also with some googling you can find windows ports for D3D that works fine.
And your AC79 will be a Realtek AC'97 soundchip I suppose.
Completely worthless to use directly with games as D3D but works fine in dosbox or the D3D winports.
