Saveing game in Duke Nuken

How do you save your game playing Duke Nuken 1?[/b]

I think you can only do it in the between level corridors. From memory (haven't played the game for 10 years), press esc and it shows a menu, then select save game.

press f1 then choose save game, type in a number and done... (i think you can load the game whenever you want via the f1 key) also take note that you can only save in the blue corridors between levels.
