STAR REACH Anyone know about it?

Post by Tweaked700 »

I’ve been looking for this game forever. The best Multi player Dos game (I think) I ever had, even if it was split screen. The real-time aspect was fantastic and even the bugs in the program made the game more fun.

This is not to be confused with “Reach for the Stars” Dos game. The game is just Star Reach. You could create ships like a Scout (scouts), fighter(Shoots a never miss laser shot) , Battle ship(heaver armor and weapon), Pirate Ship (Takes over ships), Repair ship(Gee I wonder) , Troop and Marauder Ship(Invades planets), Cargo Ship(transports raw materials to your base.

You could choose from, I think, 5 different races: Humans, Lizards, Gas, Gorilla type, Insect, and Robot…..that’s 6 isn’t it? If anyone has any info on this, just e-mail me. Thanks.
DOS Machine Setup
CPU: Pentium 200 (non mmx)
Memory: 64 megs of RAM (100 nanosecond DIMMS)
Sound: Original (like 1992) Sound Blaster 16 ^I will NEVER Throw this baby away!
Video Card: Diamond Stealth Viper 16 megs
Video Monitor: (1993) Compaq SVGA (They made good monitors back then)
Hard Drive: FAT 16 10 GB Hard Drive
Partition: C:\ 2 GB D:\….I forgot.

The file is 4.13 megs big. Too big for my Netscape e-mail. But here's the story behind the search. Someone in England found it. The game has a different name there. Its called Space Federation over there, and I downloaded it 12 minutes before their serves went down. Im lucky I got it.

You'll have to wait until I'm up on line to send it to ya via AIM. *thinks* It will be some time before I do that because Im using my modem in a college project. Around the 7th I'll be on line. Sorry
