space quest 4 skating place

I can't get past the skating part of space quest 4. I always get shot.

erm... enter the skating ring, go in the upper side(if you enter the ring on the left side don't go right and if you enter it on the right side don't go left), wait till the 2 Sequel Police dudes come, then go down and exit the skating ring.

Then go back to the arcade, and... well, I won't post the entire walktrough here... but, relax, once you exit the skating ring, unless you go to the exit or re-enter the ring, there will be no more of that pesky Sequel Police!

I don't get it the sequel police are at the rink right when i get in the rink and i try to go up but i get shot and if i can't go ight,left,up or down without being shot what am i doing wrong. Is their a way to go faster or something.

No! Just go up, and the moment the Sequel Police appears on the border of the screen you go down. That's all there is to it!

I still get shot. The guards appear right when i go in the rink. Am i going through the wrong rink entrance. I am going through the entrance that is beside the clothes store.

It DOESN'T matter which way you go in... all you have to do is go in, go up, wait for the S. P. to show up, go down and exit the ring!

Thanks I finally past the skating part. It took me a lot of tries. Will the rest of the game get a lot harder than that skating part because that was very had.
