First, and for the record this is here and not on the hardware forum as it is about modern hardware and what to buy, not vintage equipment.

Since Nvidia has released now the 8600 series cards and i am building a modern gaming rig (something that could run Crysis). I need YOUR opinion,

so answer the poll and give your comments on the 8800 GTS v. 8600.

PS: Very important that NO ATI vs. Nvidia debates arise, as this post only concerns Nvidia's cards. Also please don't just post to say that Nvidia S*/ks, or the other way around.
Ahh F-19, spend 40 minutes on a slow stealthy approach drop a bomb and spend another 30 flying back to base. 70 minutes of pure bliss...

Nvidia has always treated me well, so I'd go with them. That's certainly not an "expert" opinion, though... just personal experience. Granted, I still use their TNT2 card on my computer, so I don't know much about their newer products.
