The Way Canadians Are

I think that americans are funny. I am canadian and am surprised to see how americans think we canadians are! Here is a general impression of how americans think canadians are:

So Im all like, "You cant talk, eh? Your a pengewin! Whats that all aboot? Now go to your igloo!"

Which is funny, because:

South Eastern Canada is more south than 1/10 of america.

We both originated as colonies from Britain and France.

Why would we all live in igloos? How cold do u think it is here?

Penguins live in the south pole you morons!

Aboot? If we do say that, its on purpose cuz we think its funny that you
think we say that.

While we may say eh? a bit, at least we dont say "uhhhhh......." inbetween our scentances.

and how can 1/10 be more south than America? Florida stretches almost down to half-way past Mexico.

I don't think the igloo is true, of course. I went to Alaska and saw no igloos.

And about the accent: it's a proven fact that the farther you get from Arizona, the stranger your accent gets

have u looked at an atlas? Michigan, winsconson, new york and all those states are more north than south eastern canada. My hometown of windsor, ontario is south of detroit, michigan. (of corse, we are right next to each other, seperated only by the detroit river and connected by the ambassador bridge.)

That's not true. My relatives (from Alaska, South Carolina, and New Hapshire) came to Arizona and dubbed it as "the state without an accent". I'm serious. We sound so plain, it's normal. Same with most of southern California, except for the guys that hang out at the beaches a lot

DB: If Virginia is anything like South Carolina, than I know what they sound like. I hear it everytime I talk to my aunt.

if you can speak, you have an accent. It may not be an accent to your friends/state/country, but it could be to another country.

IE: British people speak english, as do we, to US, THEY have an accent. To THEM, WE have an accent

theres supposed to be a question mark at the end of eh, DB. Actually, English people (from my own account) do not think we have accents. They make fun of us for our LACK of accents. They think we talk bland.

I've noticed three different Australian accents:

The first is what I call, the "outback" accent, used by the farmers of the desert (well, kinda the desert) who are expeciencing terrible drought right now,

The second is the "Outer Suburbs" accent, as the name suggests, used by people in the outer suburbs,

And the third is the city accent, which is similar to the outer suburbs accent (mine).
