Youve been fooled. They are nearly even. Heres how it works:

Code: Select all

Topic..........................Cabel...................................................DSL

D/L.........Start Fast(300Kb/s),End Slow(10-20kb/s).......................Stay Fast(200kb/s)
Loading...............Can go either way...........................................Mostly Fast
Sharing.......................Yes......................................................No
Speed.........Depends on amount of users.......................................Fixed

Here is a graphical look:

Code: Select all

        Cabel DSL

Fast |-, |
       | \_ |______________
       | \_ |
       | \_ |
       | \_ |
       | \_ |
Slow|__________\_ |______________

           Amount of Time
Ok, the graphical didnt work, oh well, u get teh pont

(I know Flaming is wrong for a mod to be doing, but I must let this out)
K0, You Fool! I've seen people use Cable before. Shit, cable dled Blood (30 MB) in less than a minute. Now why, may I ask, would cable be fast at the start, and slow at the end? Is it just because you wish to prove me wrong again for no reason?

Mine's pretty fast. A lot of it depends on servers, though. Fileplanet's decently fast, about 200KB/sec. Sometimes 100. Other servers can be really slow, like 10 KB/sec. I've gotten over 300KB/s with my cable on fast servers, though.

Mine on average goes about 200KB a second, a MB in 5 seconds, 12 MBs a minute. Not super-fast like a T1, but 24 times faster than my 56k that went a MB in 2 minutes...

 *DSL connection speed envy* Bah, the fastest mine has ever gone is 250p/s. I wonder if 56k is 56k per minute... (actually, per 10 seconds seems to be it)
