Massive Shareware resource; Black Knight

Post by torstum »

Hi there,

I used to go (on occasion) to this huge shareware archive called "Channel 1"; don't know if you guys had heard of it, but it seems to be down, much to my disappointment. So, after surfing the web for some time, I found this huge archive of shareware that possesses many shareware and demo Dos (and Windows) gems:

http://cd.textfiles.com/directory.html

I found this amazing shareware flight simulator going by the title "Black Knight", but I'm trying to locate the cd I found it on, so I'll post the link when I find it.

Cheers

Found it on the Giga 5 cd; here are direct links to the files:

http://cd.textfiles.com/gigagames5/DOS/ ... KSE11A.ZIP

http://cd.textfiles.com/gigagames5/DOS/ ... KSE11B.ZIP

It's probably the first sim I've seen featuring moving traffic on roads. Something which (correct me if I'm wrong) can only be seen on sims as recent as Flight Simulator X.

Keep up the good work
