Maybe he's JMS's brother.

Maybe we should stop saying the guys name lest we accidentally invoke him.

None taking, oh and if any of your posts are mysteriously changed and make you look like a complete moron, it so wasn’t me. :P

And FYI to everyone, you can retire whenever you want, there’s this thing called money, you may have even heard of it. If say, you’re 20 years old and you have a shit load of it, you could retire right then and there, rather then wait until you’re 55, 65 or 75.

Dude. We should play some SC sometimes. I got a few friends from various other freeware game sites, so it'd be a war for the greatest freeware game site.
DOS Games vs. Gamehippo vs. Freeware Underground (though, this one is out of the running, technically)

Hey give me a shout when you guys plan to get that up and running, I don't have SC installed on my PC but I can soon fix that. It's been awhile since I played, but still, it would be fun.

I've never actually played starcraft nor diablo. I'm ashamed, but meh.

And in completely unrelated news, I've seen this piece of code really screw up a lay-out:

AFAIK, fwug is kind of... nonexistent, nowadays. And for good reason, too. The guys who ran it were nice and all... but they were so damned stupid they kept giving Thrall access to the website, and he managed to destroy it 3 or 4 times. That kind of sucked. Not that GH is that much better nowadays - despite Erind arguing with me, trying to convince me that the posters there are more mature.

Yeah...I'm good friends with rat51mann from FWUG, and I still don't know why he let Thrall have access. To be fair though, I think he had backdoors installed from the first time he had control.
As for GH...I tend to agree with Erind. There are many people over there to which I can engage in a mature conversation. Here, it just seems like there are not as many regulars, which leads me to not know how mature everyone is.
Although, WFH/Vlad is back, so I'm curious to see what happens.

You're talking about my signature right? Sorry, but it was just so damned funny.

I'll remove it if you want. If Thunderdog does it first. :P

Robhofen: If you're going to be making brilliant statements like that, you're going to have to deal with being a celebrity. :P

More seriously, though, if you have a problem with Thunderdog or Gamer_V, send them a PM. Posts like that aren't appropriate. Consider this a preemptive warning.

BAH, .swf files give me the shlits, for some reason flash doesn't seem to work right for me in Firefox anymore and I'm too darn lazy to open up IE.

For me, it might be more of a matter of percentage. While there are fewer posters here, and we do have a couple of immature posters (either people who are idiots, or people who are jerks and needlessly go out of their way to pick on the idiots) here too, they are the exception rather than the rule, and our forum is well moderated.

That might sound a bit haughty, but generally when I come here (which is every day), I see people having their questiond answered respectfully and efficiently in the guest forums, and (fairly) intelligent discussions going on in the member forums, with the idiots and the spammers being silenced by the mods within a couple hours of their posting.

When I go to GH, OTOH, I have trouble even navigating the forums because it's completely covered in spam, ranging from pornography to people spamming their websites to stupid one word posts that get 20 pages worth of (mostly) one line answers that don't have any relevancy. I have to actively hunt to find intelligent posters amoung all the daily rubbish.

Of course, I do enjoy talking to GH members on MSN and even IRC, as there are quite a few enjoyable people there, but I really can't stand the message board. Sorry, that may be a bit biased, but it's the way I've come to see it.
