MYSTERY SOLVED...
so that they can super overprice their product...
not only does the cardboard can and plastic lid cost more, but they can fit less chips in it at once... therefore charging too much of a packeage of backed... not fried... potato snacks.

Dogbreath is an adjective ( ... well ... sorta ... ), but that doesn't mean that he is an adjective? Does it? Hmm? HMM?
Chicken.

That's what I said. I asked "Why is a 'verb' a noun"? Or was that in reply to K0's comment?
And Dogbreath is a noun, even when we aren't talking about our local dictator.

i have 3 mysteries i want to unravel...
1. are snails born with shells, grow them or are they slugs that live in shells they found?
2. if that 7/11 servo is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, 366 in a leap year...then why does it have a lock on it's door?
3. why do you never see baby pelicans?

GAMER.
1. Snails and slugs are 2 different types of snails (as far as i know)
2. In the event of a robbery, the clerk could lock the robber out of his/her store and call police, technically he is still open, the door is just locked... thats all
3. Pellicans don't live around my house so i dont see adult ones either....
glad to solve your problems

1. that still doesn't tell me anything about what i originally asked.
2. how would he/she know that the person was a robber BEFORE he came in the store...and even then have the speed to lock him out before he entered?
3. That didnt answer anything.

lemme try again...
1) they start out kinda like slugs, but with soft and small shells... the shells eventually grow bigger and stronger as they get older. (as far as i know)
2) If the clerk is able to get the criminal out of the store they could then use the lock
3) i didnt know the answer so i just put in random mumbo-jumbo

1. Snails and slugs are both Mollusks and are very similar. When born, snails are like slugs but as they age, the outer mantle of a snail hardens into what we call a shell... slugs remain soft and flexible all their life.
2. In case the store ever shut down (i.e, bankruptsy, death, whether related stuff) then they would be able to shut down witout having to buy a lock.
3. Mainly because they stay in the nest all the time.

2. But doesn't 7/11 sell locks? And therefore they wouldn't have to buy a lock anyway?
Nobody's answered my verb/noun question yet.

iGoat: And go through all the trouble of installing it?
Verb question: that's because a verb is a thing and a thing is a noun.

Who says they'd need that kind of lock? Couldn't they use a combo-pad lock?
