If you have an image, what format?
If ISO or bin/cue use imgmount and mount that directly in dosbox.
Otherwise use daemon tools to create a virtual CD drive, load the image in it and mount the daemon drive as CDRom in dosbox.
But if your downloaded image is faulty .... bad luck then.

Did you install the game IN dosbox?
If yes, give ALL your mount lines, detailled.
And all you did to install it, DETAILLED.

DETAILLED, that info you gave is worthless.

I also have a similar problem, I run windows XP and i only have one harddrive and one diskdrive, i have the game downloaded cause my original broke and it is installed and i can start it and all, but when I try to start a game (new game for example) then when the movie or the game is supposed to start the game shuts down. I use windows 95 compatibily mode for the game. If noone can come up with a good idea i have a old computer with windows 98, does anyone think that it can work good on XP or do i have to change to the oldie?

Try to run it on XP in dosbox 0.72.
If the game is cracked swell (NoCD?) it will run.
BTW, was your download a CD image?
Another problem

Can someone please help me? I'm new to DOSBox and I have the original KKND disc but just burned onto a blank disc long ago and it doesn't have that much scratches but since I have a Windows Vista I can never get it to install which is sad since I have been longing to go through KKND after all these years, truly.
My System-type is x64 bit and I did what it told me to do in the setup topic of DOSBox for Vista but for the KKND (howto) it is kind of hard to understand since whenever I add "d:" to the mount list it just shows this:
and I said before I am new to DOSBox so I know I made a few mistake but I need to know what the mount box is supposed to look like in a whole to install my KKND disc, please help me out here... T_T

You must mount your CD drive as D:\ in dosbox.
mount d x:\ -t cdrom
replace the X:\ by your real CD drive letter under windows.
BTW, with this kind of games you're much better with mounting an image directly in dosbox with the imgmount command.
No need to burn the CD.
For an ISO image:
imgmount d x:\path\name.iso -t iso
or if the image is an BIN/CUE
imgmount d x:\path\name.cue -t iso

I thank you for helping me out but what I would like to know is what exactly the mount set should look like in total to install KKND, hope you can understand. ^^;

Confused or not, you will have to more detailed then that ......
What are you struggling with ???? Once again, detailed please.
[Edit]
From what I can see on your screenie your Virtual C:\ mount is correct, so first base is taken.
Now you need to mount your CD drive as D: in dosbox.
Gonna quote myself here:

Do you have a problem with this?

Alright, I added "D:/install" after the prompt began and now it finally seems to be how the installer regularly is, thank you!

Of course. ^^ If you know any recording device that can record the intro of KKND or find a way to have it into a watchable vid file since on Youtube the Original Intro is scarce and the only one is in German. XD This is unnecessary of course but i'd just thought i'd ask. XP

If your PC is beefy enough dosbox 0.74 can record movies, and it works pretty good.
CTRL-ALT-F5 Start/Stop creating a movie of the screen. (avi video capturing)
You can choose where the *.avi file will be stored in dosbox conf file under header [dosbox]
captures=x:\path\folder\
Dosbox restart needed after altering the conf file.
x:\path\folder must be existing and dosbox must of course have read/write rights in the folder.
As you're on Vista 64 bit I will suppose you're compy can handle it (or it should ...)
As folder I would suggest you create this capture folder:
C:\users\brenton\capture\
Keep in mind that you will ask some extra effort from your CPU/system, so close what's running on the background and isn't really needed.
Don't forget to let us know what the results are......
