I was looking through my floppy disk archive today just to see what I have, and we have a floppy image labeled "Linux Anti-Virus software". I wonder if it ever got a chance to work....

I don't get how that's a novelty item? Personally, I use ClamAV

Trojans, worms, rootkits, yes they also exist for Linux, UNIX.

Do you think those professionals work to hunt ghost?:

Somewhere I can understand your reaction, as it's said plenty times you don't have virus, spy or malware in Linux, but that's a fable.

There even have been trojan infected kernels released in the past.

Think again.
Protect yourself. And don't become a threat to others.

Saying Linux is free of viruses is like saying that having unprotected buttsex with gay men won't get you aids.

Actually, 1 to 5 days later you'll give birth to a 5 pounds turd! :P

Anyway, this is generally true, if you don't give a damn about you having viruses(and co.) at least care enough not to threaten others.
