Old medieval game [=Witchaven]

the game im searching fore was set in a midevil castle and you had to go around killing things reminded me of hexen or heretic but wasn't those.
key features that could be remembered had dragons, lava, 3d but as i remember it REALLY bad graphics,
if you shot an arrow in the wall you could create your own ladders and some of your weapons would decay with time and swings, if ANYONE can remember what the names of this game is i would greatly appreciate it

It's an old rpg game game you're looking after.
I think I know it, at least played it, those 'arrows to create a ladder' or better described as 'a jump point' are familiar.
But alas I can't remember the name .... will popup in my skull sooner or later -(... maybe ...)-.

i will say this much, i DO remember that it was like doom or heretic without the guns one of the weapons was a sword another was a mace and a halbred, and i believe a ball-chain-stick weapon. the year would be around 1992-1995

No wonder I couldn't remember it.
Witchhaven is total crap.
It's a hack'nslash, brainless game.
Really.
*Personal opinion of course.*
If you want an interesting game in that genre try Strife out.

hmm, i remember having the full version on my pc, i know it wasnt very good, but i'd stil like to play it
i will try strife out see how it goes
