Commander Keen lives

Post by emmzee »

For those of you with a Nintendo DS rom cart (R4's are pretty cheap now, ppl) you can now play the original Commander Keen on your DS:

It'd sure be nice to have a full DOSBox port on the DS ... is that even possible? I remember searching the DOSBox forums awhile back about that but didn't find anyone actually working on it ... ?

I'm on my second DS Lite. The first one's screen hinge cracked, and eventually broke. This one I got just after xmas last year, and the L button on it is ceasing to work. It's like they last for a year, then find a way to break on you. My original DS is still working great, but it doesn't have as good of a screen on it so I hate using it. lol.

I thought they were bringing the Keen series out on DS cartridges like the rest of the games they have released for the DS?
If this is the case then there will be no use for DOSBox

I heard its quite a big Project and involves a lot of rewriting.

I'll get onto GPFerror about it for you emmzee. He might work on it again, you never know. (He's always on the DCEmu IRC channel)

http://rapidshare.com/files/101770848/d ... r.bz2.html <-- thats a port.

I understand I woffle on a bit about the PSP and I apologise.
