Throw him apples. If he lights to another pod, slash.

Are you stuck at the evil genie in the Cave of Wonders in "Aladdin"?
Try the following:
The evil genie has two platforms to apear on. Go and stand between
them. When you see he is going to apear on one of them, run towards
him and stand next to him, but not in front of him. Use your sword
on him until he disappears. Run to the other platform, wait for him
and use your sword on him again until he disappears again. Keep
going like this between the two platforms while using the sword.
When he has been defeated, go right as far as you can, then go left
as far as you can and then go right as far as you can again. Jump
onto the flying carpet and it will fly you to some sort of water.
Jump from one platform to other and reach a "mountain". Use the
moving piece of rock to enter the "mountain" and use the fountains
to get to the top. Take the lamp.

OK i think your stuck even b4 the evil genie:
There are these red statues - u must throw apples at them. There is one on the top top. And one on the bottom left. - they are a few screens away. U must destroy them both b4 u can pass the black wall dats stopping u.
When your finally done - go to the middle to the right - where there was a wall blocking u - now u can pass it.
Prepare to meet some ugly being.
