......COOP games that I like could be a reason ?

Me ol'beloved Unreal and Return to Na Pali, one of the best COOP games ever.

Or (also COOP, of course) if the goal is to have some good playing time with a complete no-brainer without a relevant storyline, but tons of fun it would be Serious Sam FE and SE, and Serious Sam2, ideal game for a LAN weekend with some friends and a lot of beers.

...... not that any of them are abandonware.....

Yeah yeah, got that, sure I did.

But you see, problem is there are thousands of ol'games that for one or another reason should be added.

Any game I try out -(or even any that I have tried)- could be added to the list of 'recommend for a reason or another'.

Would be a much too long list.

In fact, after some reflection, any game ever created has a 'reason or another' to be on that list.
Even the QB ones, or even the nowadays completely forgotten and buried GW basic ones, even if rudimentary, there were some exceptional gems amongst those.

All of them have kinda a place in history.

You could also add any D&D or 'pen&paper via mail' of the early internet days.

I should also mention the BBS days, some games never made it out of local BBS'es, tons and tons of them.

Yep, long list it would be, this topic would span thousands of pages.

[Edit]
In fact we already have some sort of list of games that for a reason or another could/should be added to the site:

Seems emmzee has a lot of work waiting for him.

It's supposed to be a page in the site itself, that's why the post is in Site Suggstions.

Here goes:

Alley
Jill
Duke 2
Llamatron
Troy
Word Rescue

And arguments:

So mutch fun and content in such a small file.
Suberb. Period.
-"-
Content/size ratio, for free.
Teaches to play.
Works as a game too.

Only 1st 3 deserves 90+ points.

Personally, I recommend a game that would be for everyone.

I see a lot of war games and it just is too much.

However I shouldn't talk because my dad spanked the heck out of me.

haha

Anyways, the point I am making is something for everyone!
God, Jesus Christ, is number one!hehe

Bless Jesus Christ!
Then please bless my mom.
