DOS Games Discussion

Hi

I am looking for a turn based RPG ( something like old Heroes - except that this one has turn based moves on the map,but with real time combat)
I think it was made between years 1995-2000. You could choose from various sides. I can remeber just 3 of them - Order, Chaos and Fire. I think that if you choose fire your character was some guy riding a tiger. Please help me with the name of that game.

also I would like to add that it was not a dos based game it ran on windows

Sounds like Lords of Magic - indeed it has turn-based movement on the global map coupled with real-time (although pauseable) combat.
