Hello,
i used to play lot of strategy games when i was younger. There is this one game that i used play with my friends trough LAN and it was probably late 90's or early 2000's. The game wasn't from the standard "command&conquer" perspective, but it was more close to the troops. You could also move the point of camera more flexible. This game was based on some different planet that wasn't earth. In the beginning of the game you deployed troops to the map and then you started to fight the enemy. You were also able to deploy more troops after the game had progressed some time. The guns and tech were also more advanced that what we currently have. If i remember correctly, closest to that tech and guns could be HALO.
This is basically everything i remember from the game. Hopes someone can help me out! Cheers
