Tips on running Battleground 2: Gettysburg?

Hi

I recently got a copy of a game called Battleground Gettysburg [ or the other way around]
Its from 1995 and i want to know how i can play it [i'm not the best at computers] i want to know which hardware can run this game because i think my own pc cant run it because old game + new computer doesnt sound like a good idea

That's certainly not always the case, many games run well or only require some minor fiddling to work on modern systems; others run well through an emulator.

Alright, Battleground 2: Gettysburg is a Windows/Windows 3.1 game. There are good chances it'll work, but here's a couple of tools that might come in handy:

• otvdm -- lets you run 16-bit Windows apps on 64-bit Windows where native support for 16-bit is dropped
• DxWnd -- allows to resolve various issues with games that require legacy versions of DirectX
