Possible DDOS attack / bot on a rampage

Hi all,

Today there was an issue with the site, too long to explain here but essentially the same as the issue described here:

I've tried to mitigate it as much as possible but you may get a "forum unavailable" message sometimes, my apologies, I am actively still working on a better solution. You may also see that annoying Cloudflare "prove you're a human" message which I personally despise but hopefully it's only a temporary thing.

Still not sure if it's due to a deliberate DDOS, unintentional DDOS (ex, spidering bot or some kind of script out of control) or what but it's damn annoying.

I'm not sure, if it's related, but last weak when I tried to visit, instead 'o the index, there was was a message that I was banned 'til Apr 7 'cause my IP was in spammer list. Thou can look how much I've been spammin'.

Possibly related, I'm noticing that session timeout is really fast somehow, I find myself having to re-authenticate every time I post something.

Very much DDOS going on recently I think - keep getting messages aimed at other spam-IP:s I think.

Edit: I noticed my timezone was off in my profile, possibly since last update of the forum - I fixed that, but still issues with 'permanently banned IP' messages.
