I downloaded Mortal Kombat from dosgamesonline and started to play. The graphics and sound were fine, but it at the end of the introduction, it said to press start. I'm using a keyboard, so I don't have the start button like Nintendo controllers do. What should I do?

Just press keyes until a key reacts, and look, it's your start button!

I tried, but none of the keys seem to work.

I think it's F1 and F10 for setup.

In MK1 it's F1 for Player 1 start, F2 for player 2 start. F10 is indeed setup, but only in some versions (not in the pre-release).

Forward, forward, forward, high punch is the fatality of Johnny Cage and
Forward, down, forward, high punch is the fatality of Sub Zero (I think).
