DOSGames.com Review: Rating: 4
If you've ever seen the Tom Hanks movie Big (1988) you'll probably remember a PC graphical adventure game that is shown briefly. It's identified as "Cavern of the Evil Wizard", but to the disappointment of many fans of the movie, it was just made up for the movie; it didn't actually exist. Now a developer has made his own interpretation of the game, based on the screens seen in the movie. It keeps the same CGA graphic aesthetic and text-based input. Although you know how the game ends, you'll now get to see how the hero got there! Very cool since I remember Googling this when I got the Internet long ago and being disappointed that it wasn't a real game. Well, here it is, the full game for your enjoyment! Thank you MontieMongoose! (A Windows executable is also included but running the DOS version is recommended by the author.)
