Clif Danger is a platforming game with great presentation but borderline unplayable gameplay. It makes a lot of the right moves, with nice-looking graphics, sounds, and even a lot of "edgy" 90's attitude. There's a story but no one really cares, you complete levels by rescuing "Amazons" (aka scantily clad ladies) and blasting everything else with a variety of weapons. The camera, pacing, and overall control mechanics of the game are not great and perhaps why it doesn't feel very good to play. It's also rather difficult, but it's certainly interesting to experience. (The unskippable ads at the end of the game prompting you to buy the full version are insanely long, I imagine people would've rather rebooted than endure through the whole thing.)
