DOSGames.com Review: Rating: 2.5
Duff is a Boulderdash-like game where the object is to collect the required number of skulls and get to the exit before time runs out. You'd figure you were supposed to avoid the skulls, but nope, collect 'em! As in Boulderdash, you can push blocks, which fall and roll in that weird Boulderdash way. There are other items you can collect for points, and seems like there are other useful items and dangerous hazards around too. Decent graphics, but for sound and music it requires a Gravis Ultrasound; if you're willing to set it up to work in DOSBox, it may sound nice? (Sound is disabled here but you can re-run DUFFSET.EXE to turn it on if you set up Ultrasound support.) This game is marked as "not kid friendly" due to the violent way the character dies.
