DOSGames.com Review: Rating: 3
Pssst! was originally developed for the ZX Spectrum back in 1983. Ten years later, John Dow ported it to MS-DOS PCs and ... here it is! The object of the game is to protect a plant that is growing upwards from the bottom of the screen from bugs. You can grab various weapons from the sides and use them against the bugs; different tools kill different kinds. Once the plant grows to the top, you win the level and progress. The game looks the same as the ZX Spectrum original, with it's distinctive graphical style. Not the most fun game I've ever played, but never played another game quite like it. The controls are awkward, I assume because that's how they were on the original game.
