Purple Martians is a platforming game, described by its author as being "like Bubble Bobble or Mario". I disagree with that assessment, but it's still a decently fun game. The goal is to get to the exit, blasting baddies on the way. You'll need to destroy all enemies on the level before making it to the exit. They will drop powerups to help you. Although the game's graphics are not the highest quality, they do have a sort of charm about them. And the game itself plays well and offers 35 levels, and even includes a level editor (separate from the main game program) so you can make your own levels.
