Space Flees is a game which is decently advanced for its time but doesn't hold up well these days. It's a single-screen shmup sort of like Space Invaders or Galaxian/Galaga where you shoot flees. Yes, presumably the author knows it's typically spelled "fleas". That's pretty much it, you also have a shield you can toggle on and off but you have limited energy. There is no "score" per se although if you manage to complete a wave you get a trophy. It looks decent for its time (it has a sort of color vector graphics thing going on) but it's not much fun to play. I'm also not sure what speed this is supposed to run; it says it was designed for a PC AT (286) but 2000 DOSBox cycles seems too fast and 1000 seems too slow so, 1250? That's my best guess!
