DOSGames.com Review: Rating: 2.5
The TunnelMan is a platforming game which at first feels a bit like Loderunner but also incorporates the block-falling aspect of Boulderdash. Your objective is to collect all of the dynamites and a detonator, then make your way to the exit to escape the level. Things start out easy but get more difficult quickly. The game has passable graphics and some simple sounds, however the main problem is the controls. Unlike most games which properly buffer keyboard input, here it seems like you'll need to tap-tap-tap the arrow keys to move around, otherwise you'll likely continue moving after you release the key. If you can get used to that though it's a pretty well made game. It also includes a level editor which you can access by pressing Spacebar during the game. (See the included DOC file for instructions on using the editor.)
