VGA Jigsaw is the aesthetically improved "sequel" to PC Jigsaw, also released by Alive Software. The premise is the same: An image gets scrambled, and you have to figure out how to put it back together using your mouse to swap pieces around. A count of the number of swaps you make is kept, and at the end you'll see how good (or bad) you were at reassembling the puzzle. Like its predecessor, this game only includes five images (the registered version allows you to use your own PCX/GIF images) but this VGA version has five difficulty levels rather than only three. It also of course has improved color depth due to its 320x200, 256 color mode, and it has MIDI music too. (It also supports higher resolution modes, if you have the patience to get them working. I did not.) The full version of the game is still available to buy from Alive Software in their Puzzles Bundle.
