Omega Race is based on the Midway arcade game of the same name which was originally released in 1981. This remake for DOS, released around 16 years later, is not really an improvement. Its movement is janky and graphics are flickery and uninspired, but it does keep the basic premise the same. The goal is to move your Asteroids-inspired triangle around the screen and destroy the enemies, avoiding the large Omega Race box in the center. It does include some simple sound effects and overall is playable, but not something most people would want to play for long.
